My Dad has always been, "The Car Guy" - restoring old cars, building from scratch, and loving to talk shop! I knew my fictional town needed a garage, so I had to include his 1930 Ford Model A and a cool pickup truck for me (I plan to own one someday, but not a tow truck)! There are a few personal references in the signs that I hope he notices. I had a lot of fun putting this one together and finding reference images - everything was so much more beautiful 'back in the day ;)
As an illustrator, I am honoured when someone wants to hang my artwork on their wall, so have fun making a set of your own! I'd suggest grouping prints with similar colours or subject matter, but in the end you just need to love the pieces so pick your favourites!
