Ellen Cameron's Equestrian Photography reveals an artistic view combined with the technical accuracy of a knowledgeable horsewoman. While originally photographing subjects for use as a visual reference for paintings, she realized that her true passion was photography. "I may never see the unleashed power, the soft gaze or the joyful cavorting I see now. I want to preserve it for the next generation so that the emotion when I captured it lives on." Her belief in the expression of contemporary equestrian images is seen in every piece of artwork."

Her work has been exhibited in New York, McMichael Canadian Art Gallery Artist Project, Toronto, Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, Millcroft Inn. She has  worked with CBC/BBC Docs. Greatest Horse Productions ,Saving the Greatest Horse.
